Dr Ahmed Farooq - Practice Principle BMedSci BDS (Bham) MJDF RCS (Eng)
Dr Farooq received his Biomedical Material Science degree in 2003 and went on to qualify as a Dental Surgeon from the University of Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2008. He went on to continue his post graduate training at Kings College Hospital London during which time he completed the Royal College of Surgeons MJDF examination. He has gained experience in paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry, oral surgery, sedation and community dental care.
Dr Farooq shares a passion for restorative dentistry and is currently undertaking further training in Restorative Dentistry at the Bart’s and Royal London NHS Trust. His clinical interests include the prosthetic rehabilitation of patients and replacement of missing teeth with fixed and removable prostheses, such as bridges, crowns and dentures. He additionally aspires to complete a diploma in dental implants to further specialise. He currently writes regular online dental articles for dradvice.co.uk.
